Outdoor stove

Due to the high durability class of the wood, this hardwood planter needs no further treatment. The planter will turn grey over time. This colour change does not affect the quality of the planter. The planter is constructed using only high-quality stainless- steel fasteners, and the base is lined with an anti-root membrane.

Advantages

  • 5-year guarantee.
  • Corten steel is very robust, hard-wearing, weatherproof, low-maintenance and durable.
  • This fireplace is not delivered with a door as standard. The door can be ordered separately.
  • Does not include flue pipe or rain cap..

Important Info

  • Always place the outdoor fireplace on a flat, heat-resistant, stable surface or attach it to a sturdy, heat-resistant wall.
  • Use one wall bracket per metre of flue pipe or use a roof duct.
  • Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven rust patches.
  • Pay close attention to the diameter of any accessories you order. Flue accessories are available in 150mm or 200mm
  • Products are delivered un-rusted. The corten steel rusting process takes about 4–5 months, depending on weather conditions.
  • We do not recommend using corten steel within 2 km of a coastline.
  • The guarantee is void if the product is drilled, sanded or scoured in a manner other than prescribed.
  • Clean annually by hosing off dirt with clean tap water.

Safety Advice

  • Choose a safe location. Make sure the fire is far enough away from buildings and other equipment.
  • Place on a stable, flat surface.
  • Fill the firebox with firelighters, small pieces of wood, twigs or paper and place them in the firebox
  • Hold a long lighter or match near the firelighter, wood or paper in the firebox
  • As the material begins to burn, add more wood to make the fire bigger.
  • Maintain the fire by adding wood regularly when the fire burns down.
  • When you are done using the fire, make sure the fire is completely extinguished before you go..
