The FORNO® DAMM corten steel outdoor stove is a compact garden fireplace and grill designed to add warmth and outdoor cooking to gardens, patios, and outdoor spaces. Ideal for homeowners and outdoor cooking enthusiasts, it provides both heat and a cooking surface. The plancha-style grill allows you to cook food directly or use pans and kettles. Optional side tables can be added to one or both sides for extra workspace.
Made from durable corten steel with a 10mm carbon steel cooking plate, the DAMM is built for outdoor use. The steel develops a natural orange-brown rust patina that helps protect it from corrosion. The solid plancha plate is easy to clean—simply scrape with a spatula and wipe with a damp cloth.

Delivery is to mainland UK excluding the Isles of Jersey and Guernsey.
IMPORTANT: There will be extra charges for any deliveries offshore – except the Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.
Delivery time for products in stock is 7-12 working days. Unforeseen circumstances may occur which may delay a delivery. Consequential costs cannot be claimed. Partial deliveries for multiple items are not possible
Deliveries are kerbside only. You must be present for offloading. You will be contacted by our courier or us by phone or text to arrange and confirm a day that is suitable for delivery. If you are not present to receive the delivery, a redelivery charge may apply. In case of unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect details being provided additional transport costs may be charged.
The address must be accessible with an 18 ton lorry with a tail lift (similar to the image below). Lorry dimensions are typically 8-10m long, 2.5m tall and 2.5m wide.

The delivery costs that apply per order are:
FREE DELIVERY on orders over £950
- Parcel deliveries via DHL; will have a charge of £12.00 per order. Maximum 4 products per order with maximum dimensions of 600x600x600mm - 1000x400x400mm – bowls up to 800mm, Maximum 30kg per product)
- Pallet deliveries via Dachser ; will have a charge of £50 per order
SURCHARGES - Minimum order amount
- Parcel deliveries via DHL will have a surcharge of £10 for orders under £100
- Pallet deliveries via Dachser will have a surcharge of £40 for orders under £650
Pallet deliveries: Deliveries are made between 8.30 - 5.00, it is not possible to specify a time. Our courier will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery day. The courier will not attempt delivery until contact has been made with you. Please ensure that you point out any potential delivery issues, such as restricted access, at this time. Actions required to overcome delivery issues may be chargeable to you, particularly if only discovered on the day of delivery.
Parcel deliveries: No delivery appointment will be made for orders that will be delivered by DHL. You will receive an email from DHL with the tracking details.
Returns: You can return your order up to 14 days after delivery
Please note that you are responsible for arranging the return of your order and for the costs of returning your order to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error. All return items must have original tags and packaging; and not been used or modified in any way.
Please unpack and remove all packing and inspect for any damages. Any damage or issues with your delivery must be reported within 48hours of receiving,
We cannot accept returns on any made-to-order products.
Outdoor stove
This outdoor stoves boasts a sleek and minimalist design that will complement any garden. This wood-burning fireplace will instantly add warmth and character to any outdoor setting.
The warm colour of corten steel combines beautifully with other natural garden elements.
Made of corten steel, which develops an orange-brown patina over time. Corten steel is a metal alloy made by adding copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chromium to iron. When exposed to air, the material forms a protective layer of rust. This natural coating prevents further corrosion.
Advantages

- The grill plate is made of 10-mm thick S235 steel.
- Includes flue with flue cap.
- The grill overflow is simple to seal with the supplied twist stopper.
- The grill will reach a cooking temperature of 275-300°C about 25–30 minutes after the fire is lit.
- The grill functions optimally after it has been used once or twice, allowing the oil to 'season' the plate. Allowing the oil to 'burn in' protects the grill from rusting when not in use and makes cooking easier.
- The ash pan can be used to regulate the air intake by sliding it out about 5 cm. This allows you to control the intensity of the fire's heat.
Important Info
- The grill can be cleaned simply by oiling it and scraping off residue with a spatula. Apply a final coat of oil to the grill plate before storing to prevent rust.
- We recommend using vegetable oils with a higher smoke point, such as groundnut oil or sunflower oil, to cook on the grill plate.
- Worktop attachments are not supplied as standard with the DAMM. These can be ordered separately.
- Use one wall bracket per metre of flue pipe or use a roof vent.
- Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven rust patches.
- Products are delivered without rust. The corten steel rusting process takes about 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions.
- Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective anti-rust coating. Owatrol protects the product and stops the rust on corten steel flaking off.
- Clean annually by hosing off dirt with clean tap water.
Safety Advice
- Choose a safe location. Make sure the fire is far enough away from buildings and other equipment.
- We do not recommend using corten steel within 2 km of a coastline.
- Always place the outdoor fireplace on a flat, heat-resistant, stable surface or attach it to a sturdy, heat-resistant wall.
- Fill the firebox with firelighters, small pieces of wood, twigs or paper and place them in the firebox
- Hold a long lighter or match near the firelighter, wood or paper in the firebox
- As the material begins to burn, gradually add slight larger pieces of wood to build heat in the fire
- Insure good combustion by adding wood regularly when the fire burns down.
- When you are done using the fire, make sure the fire is completely extinguished before you go..
