Delivery

In most cases your order will be sent directly from our partners and manufacturers based across Europe

Delivery is to mainland UK excluding the Isles of Jersey and Guernsey.
IMPORTANT: There will be extra charges for any deliveries offshore – except the Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.

Delivery time for products in stock is 7-12 working days. Unforeseen circumstances may occur which may delay a delivery. Consequential costs cannot be claimed. Partial deliveries for multiple items are not possible

Deliveries are kerbside only. You must be present for offloading. You will be contacted by our courier or us by phone or text to arrange and confirm a day that is suitable for delivery. If you are not present to receive the delivery, a redelivery charge may apply. In case of unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect details being provided additional transport costs may be charged.

The address must be accessible with an 18 ton lorry with a tail lift (similar to the image below). Lorry dimensions are typically 8-10m long, 2.5m tall and 2.5m wide.

Please note, for items over 2 meters in length or diameter, you are responsible for unloading from the lorry at the point of delivery. These items cannot be unloaded via a standard tail lift and will be delivered with a single driver. If you do not have access to a forklift or unloading facilities, please contact us and we will try to assist you.

For items longer than 3 meters, please contact us before you order.

The delivery costs that apply per order are:

FREE DELIVERY on orders over £950

Parcel deliveries via DHL; will have a charge of £12.00 per order. Maximum 4 products per order with maximum dimensions of 600x600x600mm - 1000x400x400mm – bowls up to 800mm, Maximum 30kg per product)
Pallet deliveries via Dachser ; will have a charge of £50 per order

SURCHARGES - Minimum order amount

Parcel deliveries via DHL will have a surcharge of £10 for orders under £100
Pallet deliveries via Dachser will have a surcharge of £40 for orders under £650

Pallet deliveries: Deliveries are made between 8.30 - 5.00, it is not possible to specify a time. Our courier will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery day. The courier will not attempt delivery until contact has been made with you. Please ensure that you point out any potential delivery issues, such as restricted access, at this time. Actions required to overcome delivery issues may be chargeable to you, particularly if only discovered on the day of delivery.

Parcel deliveries: No delivery appointment will be made for orders that will be delivered by DHL. You will receive an email from DHL with the tracking details.

Returns: You can return your order up to 14 days after delivery

Please note that you are responsible for arranging the return of your order and for the costs of returning your order to us unless we have delivered the item to you in error. All return items must have original tags and packaging; and not been used or modified in any way.

Please unpack and remove all packing and inspect for any damages. Any damage or issues with your delivery must be reported within 48hours of receiving,

Why Hardwood

Due to the high durability class of the wood, this hardwood planter needs no further treatment. The planter will turn grey over time. This colour change does not affect the quality of the planter. The planter is constructed using only high-quality stainless- steel fasteners, and the base is lined with an anti-root membrane.

Important Info

Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. This moisture can cause stains that are difficult to remove.
All hardwoods turn grey when exposed to sun, rain and wind. The eventual colour partly depends on the initial colour of the hardwood.
Wood is a natural product which shrinks or expands depending on temperature and moisture content. Regular oiling helps to stabilise the moisture content and limits shrinking and expansion.
We use stainless-steel screws. Like almost all woods, hardwood reacts when it comes into contact with iron. This can cause significant discolouration, which can look like mould.
Remove metal shavings from tools (bits and drills) before use.
Avoid contact with lawn fertiliser and cement. These contain traces of iron.
The planter is not suitable for moving once filled.

Planting Advice

Cover the bottom of the planter with about 10 cm of hydro pellets.
Place a permeable anti-root membrane over the drainage material.
Cover the membrane with soil suitable for your chosen plants.
