Sales in outdoor fire-pits, gas powered fire tables and wood-burning stoves have soared in the last couple of years, and for good reason. We all know that spending time outside in our gardens is not only great for keeping us well but also wonderful for our mental health.
However buying one doesn’t always seem simple and straightforward, so we hope this newsletter will help you answer a few questions. Read on!
Which type of outdoor fire should I go for?
If you love the smell of woodsmoke then the Forno Fire Bowl is the perfect solution for you, a simple and stylish centrepiece for our outdoor space.
If your dreams are more centred around roasting marshmallows around a campfire in the evening then the Borc Fire Pit will suit you perfectly.
For a get up and go solution our gas fire pits make life very easy.
Your outdoor gathering can be all spontaneity, turning your garden into a welcoming outdoor room at the flick of a switch. All the cosiness with none of the hard work (although we know that’s what some of you love about wood fires). Our Brann Gas Fire Table fits beautifully into any garden scheme.
And if space isn’t an issue then take a look at one of our larger stunning fire tables.
Where can I put my outdoor fire?
It goes without saying that all the solutions above are better on paved surfaces, but if fireproofing is already in place then other options can be considered. You also need to bear in mind that if you want to have an open fire you need a large enough area around the outside to allow people to gather around it.
Consider siting it away from the other main dining and seating areas, creating an enticing retreat.
Also, make sure you aren’t too close to small trees and plants which may not love the heat as much as we do.
As we are also installers of all our products at YARD we are available to answer all of these and any other questions you might have about how to introduce an outdoor fire to your garden or design project.
And we really do love hearing from our customers, so please get in touch.
