Ikea Grillskär Outdoor Kitchens

Ikea has recently joined the outdoor kitchen market, with a range that’s perfectly suited to those looking for something under the £1000 mark. The units are lightweight and can easily be moved around.

As the grill head is normally a significant cost component in an outdoor kitchen, Ikea’s basic gas grill makes a huge saving on the overall price ticket. Because of the potential compromise on the actual grill head, we weren’t sure whether to include Ikea in our Best Outdoor Kitchen article – however, we wanted to give as many options as possible.

Price: £790 – The below example costs £790

Installation: Self-assembly.

WHICH IS THE BEST OUTDOOR KITCHEN FOR ME?

So as you can see, the outdoor kitchens differ hugely in what you can get, and at what price. We’ve tried to break this down into three easy steps to help you down the decision-making journey:

  • Step 1 – pricing: Eliminate the outdoor kitchens that aren’t in line with what you want to spend – whether that’s the higher-priced brands or the entry-level basic kitchens.
  • Step 2 – appearance: Choose what style of kitchen you like. For the majority of people, it simply comes down to what they like the look of. Appearance is a key part of the decision, as your outdoor kitchen will most likely be a prominent feature in your outdoor social space.
  • Step 3 – features: Now that you know which kitchen you’d like to go with, now is the time to decide which features and BBQs you would like in your kitchen.
